OUR PRODUCT
It's a well known fact that fresh leafy greens, colorful vegetables, and healthy whole grains are the best diet for caged birds regardless of species, age, or size. It's also a well known fact that most birds are picky eaters and getting them to eat healthy can be a real challenge. In 2019, we began working with multiple A.A.V. certified & licensed Avian nutritionists and behaviorists to develop our chop. Once perfected, we sent our product to a USDA licensed nutrition lab for a compete nutritional break down, evaluation, and pet food safety approval. We are currently working on 2 other varieties that are in the lab testing process.
OUR INGREDIENTS
All our ingredients are fresh, hand selected, hand washed, and hand prepared. We only use the best quality ingredients available. We do our best to locally source as many of our ingredients as possible. We love supporting our local farmer's markets. However, we are located in Wisconsin. This means that sometimes local isn't available depending on the time of the year. Also, some items are not locally produced at all.
